About the project

Project objective

AO E-Circular through the project will provide support and consultancy to Local Public Authorities in the process of drawing up Local Waste Management Programs and calculating tariffs for public waste management services, in accordance with the provisions of the national legal framework in the field. The project also aims to increase digital skills among APL staff in planning/organizing waste management and calculating the waste management tariff.

Project results

The EXCEL Module was developed for the development of local waste management programs and tariff calculation for public waste management services. The online module facilitates the calculation of sanitation tariffs and the development of local waste management programs, offering digital support for mayors, deputy mayors, municipal sanitation operator employees, accountants, other people involved in waste management planning activities.

Within the project, more than 90 local representatives from different waste management regions were trained, who participated both in online information workshops and in physical workshops.

This program supports the transition to green and efficient practices in the T&I sector, providing economic opportunities and green skills development for women, youth and SMEs.
