In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the connections between the circular economy and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting, within the context of new compliance requirements (CSRD, ESRS). Through practical examples, we will examine how integrating circular principles supports sustainable corporate performance and helps reduce environmental and reputational risks.

This interactive workshop brings together representatives from the private sector, public authorities, NGOs, and academia to transform the principle REUSE into concrete actions. Building on examples from the textile, packaging, logistics, and equipment sectors, we will jointly identify practical measures and real opportunities across value chains — from repair and refurbishment to product-as-a-service models and community-based reuse solutions. The goal of the workshop is to co-create initiatives and immediately applicable steps that will accelerate the development of circular business models in the Republic of Moldova.

Study Visit 1: Rikipal SRL08:30-10:30

The study visit will offer participants the opportunity to discover how the principles of the circular economy are applied in practice through the collection, refurbishment, and reuse of wooden pallets. The company represents a local example of extending product life cycles and integrating circularity into a sustainable and efficient business model.

Study Visit 2: Terafix SRL11:30-12:30

Participants will learn how Terafix SRL applies biotechnologies and physical-mechanical methods to transform industrial organic waste into a sustainable, high-value protein concentrate. The process is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, showcasing how waste recovery can contribute to the circular economy while providing innovative solutions for the feed industry.
