In this course, participants will explore the fundamental concepts of the circular economy, an innovative alternative to the traditional "extract-use-dispose" economic model. This course is welcome for professionals, students and anyone interested in understanding how resources can be maximized in a way that benefits the environment and the economy.
As a provider of nationally accredited training services, AO E-Circular Training and Consulting Center by organizing this course aims to develop professional skills among the participants, prepared to integrate the basic principles of the circular economy in their own activity, to develop own ideas, solutions to circularize a business.
According to "The Circularity Gap Report 2024", although the discourses about the circular economy are more and more frequent, humanity takes less and less concrete actions to comply with its principles. Even if the term Circular Economy is on everyone's lips, global circularity is in decline.
Over the past 5 years, discussions, debates, and articles addressing this topic have increased nearly 3-fold, reflecting increased awareness and interest in this economic model. However, most of the materials entering the economy are new, and the proportion of recycled materials is decreasing year by year. The share of secondary materials consumed by the global economy decreased from 9.1% in 2018 to 7.2% in 2023
