The circular economy is no longer just an option, but a necessity in the context of current climate and economic challenges. Adopting this innovative model is essential for companies that want to remain competitive and comply with new legislative requirements, given the National Program for Green and Circular Economy, approved in 2024, and the Economic Development Strategy.
In this course, participants will explore the fundamental concepts of the circular economy, which offers a sustainable alternative to the linear “extract-use-dispose” model. They will learn how to optimize resource use, extend product lifespans, and reduce waste, thereby contributing to protecting the environment and strengthening a resilient economy.
What the course offers:
- Updated information support to facilitate companies' adaptation to new legislative requirements.
- Applied solutions for integrating circular practices into business, from production to consumption and waste management.
- Success stories and case studies demonstrating the effective application of circular economy principles.
Based on „The Circularity Gap Report 2024”, although the circular economy is increasingly discussed, concrete actions to implement it are in decline. The percentage of recycled materials used globally has decreased from 9.1% in 2018 to 7.2% in 2023. In this context, the course comes to fill this gap, providing the necessary tools to move from theory to practice.!
