By launching this project, AVD aims to directly contribute to increasing community awareness and participation in order to reduce the impact of waste on the environment and health. Obviously, it is not an easy task, rather a challenge, but through coordinated and well-planned actions, we want to succeed together with the target beneficiary groups of the project (inhabitants of the targeted communities, teachers, librarians, students, LPAs, NGOs ures, sanitation operators, economic agents, etc.) gradually reducing the amount of waste reaching the landfill, increasing the share of selectively collected recyclable waste and of course increasing the number of citizens, who will contribute to improving the quality of sanitation services by honoring the obligation to pay for these services.

During the implementation of this project, AVD, together with the team of experts involved, carried out various activities aimed directly at strengthening the community's capacities in the correct management of generated waste.
